Our Attorneys
Robert G. Winterbotham – Founder
Robert was born in San Rafael, California on November 18 1942 and passed away on July 8 2002. He received a B.A. from Stanford University, and a J.D. from Western State College of Law.
Dale Parham – Attorney
Dale was born on March 5, 1942 and passed away on October 3, 2013. He had received his Bachelor of Arts from Whittier College in San Diego and his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkley, Boalt Hall School of Law. Dale was born to be an advocate for consumers and will be deeply missed by everyone in the bankruptcy community.
Sundee Teeple – Attorney
Sundee has been with the law firm since 1994 and has been a managing partner since 2002. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and has been practicing bankruptcy law for over 18 years. Her resounding kindness, steadfastness and skill give her an excellent reputation both with her clients and at court. Sundee finds her work gratifying as it enables her to help people going through a difficult time and creates the opportunity for a fresh start. When she is not practicing law, Sundee enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children.
Our Staff
Jeffrey – Senior Paralegal
Jeff has been with the law firm since 1992 and is the office manager for all Orange County offices and senior paralegal in the Anaheim and Santa Ana offices. He works directly with clients throughout the bankruptcy process and his care and honesty make him an invaluable asset to the law firm. Jeff also specializes in and handles all Chapter 13 matters for Orange County, helping clients achieve a successful discharge in even the most complex of situations. Jeff finds working in bankruptcy to be a satisfying and enriching experience because he is able to help others. He also enjoys the challenge of what he does, as “each case is like a puzzle to be put together to find the correct and best fit for each particular client”. Jeff is the Boy Scout Leader for his children’s pack and, in his spare time, enjoys camping and tinkering around the house.
Lynette – Senior Paralegal
Lynette has been with the law firm since 1991 and has worked in the legal profession for over 22 years. Lynette meets with clients directly, working with them through the filing of their case and making sure we have the information we need so that the case discharges smoothly and successfully. Her extensive experience paired with her passion and dedication to her work give her a great reputation with clients. In her spare time, Lynette enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as camping at both the beach and the desert.
Kathy – Senior Paralegal
Kathy has been with the firm since 1991 and is a Senior Paralegal in one of our busiest offices. Her duties include meeting with clients, working on their case both before and after the filing, and training new employees. Kathy’s caring and empathy help her connect with the client on a personal level so that she can fully understand their situation. She finds it rewarding to be able to help clients get a fresh start and has seen first hand how bankruptcy can be a new beginning and not an end. Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, and in her spare time can be found camping, hiking or reading.
Jessica – Senior Paralegal
Jessica has been with the law firm since 2008 and is responsible for the preparation and filing of cases and various other motions. She also handles multiple administrative tasks for the main office in Orange county, including answering any calls for the area and scheduling appointments. Her compassion and understanding help her connect with clients so she can help them to the best of her ability, making the bankruptcy process as easy and painless as possible. Jessica finds working in the bankruptcy field “enriching because it allows me to help people who are going through an extremely difficult time in their lives. It’s rewarding to see clients who come in to the office stressed show a palatable sense of relief after the process is over”. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys going to different plays and shows as well as drawing, reading and traveling.
Support Staff
Tammy – Administrative Assistant
Tammy has been with the law firm since 2010 and is responsible for various administrative tasks in the main office for Los Angeles county, including handling all incoming phone calls for the county and scheduling appointments. Tammy has over 15 years of customer service experience and prides herself in being a positive representation of the law firm – often being the first person new and potential clients interact with. Honest and respectful, Tammy believes in treating people as you would like to be treated. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Patti – HR/Bookkeeping
Patti has been with the law firm since 2002 and is the head of our human resources and accounting departments. Her extensive experience in both human resources and bookkeeping, paired with her honest and trustworthy nature, make her an asset to the law firm. In her spare time, Patti enjoys reading and spending time with her sisters.
